This is the piece that put our shop on the map — a peaked-roof piece of dog crate furniture shaped like a tiny cabin, brown frame with white trim, with a flat top that doubles as a side table. It made the finalist round of Etsy's 2023 Design Awards and carries our own registered design patent. Handmade in our Turkey workshop, and priced DDP, meaning customs duties are already folded into what you pay today.
Some buyers call it a dog crate, others a dog kennel or a modern dog crate — either way this wooden dog crate sits in a living room, bedroom or office and reads as an indoor dog house built for real life, not pet gear stuck in the corner. Rather than solid lumber, the panels use an engineered wood-look composite: it resists warping, scratching and the odd knocked-over water bowl in a way raw wood generally doesn't hold up to over time.
A steel lock behind the acrylic door releases only from the outside, so a dog can't nose it open from within, and the vent slots are cut narrow enough that a puppy's paw won't fit through. Underneath, a water-resistant subfloor lifts out for washing, and with the cushion in place it doubles as a proper wooden dog bed, not just a crate to sleep near.
Every luxury dog house ships with a cushion included at no charge — pick white or ivory when you check out, either one comes free. Fancy a second cushion later, maybe in the other shade? Those are available separately in our shop whenever you want one.
Sizing (external dimensions, four options):
Small — 20.7" W x 23.0" H x 19.5" D — dogs 5 to 12 kg (11 to 26 lb)
Medium — 25.6" W x 28.4" H x 23.5" D — dogs 12 to 22 kg (26 to 48 lb)
Large — 30.6" W x 33.9" H x 27.3" D — dogs 22 to 40 kg (48 to 88 lb)
X Large — 34.9" W x 37.0" H x 31.4" D — dogs 40 to 52 kg (88 to 115 lb), our large dog crate size — leave the door open and it doubles as a large dog bed too
Assembly runs about 15 minutes start to finish — pre-drilled panels, hardware, an Allen key and printed steps turn into a finished wood crate with no extra tools needed. Lost or damaged a panel later on? Just message us; we hold genuine spare parts for this design.
Keep it somewhere dry and covered — a living room, bedroom, home office or a covered patio are all fine, but direct rain isn't something the panels are built to take.
We build each order after it comes in rather than from stock, so plan for around 1 to 3 business days of production, followed by 3 to 5 days of tracked shipping to arrive. Because the DDP price already accounts for customs, you won't be handed an extra bill when the courier shows up.
